I know I know is a choreographic work composed for four dancers. It is centered on the idea of catalog; meaning the structure is a series of ten non-connected scenes, solos and duets, each one defined by diverse music, lighting and atmospheres.
The music is composed like a collage in which pop music tracks are mixed with every day sounds and noises. In the same way, the dance takes hints from everyday life gestures and choreographical clichés which establish, without need of development, concrete situations or atmospheres.
Two solos open and close the piece, the first is constructed on the idea of a host illustrating and starting the show, the last one functions like the end credits of a movie, it closes the curtain, allowing the performance's atmosphere to continue. It's a kind of inventory of a choreographic imagery.
